Meet Your Construction Executive of the Year Finalists!

2017 Construction Executive of the Year

Finalist #2  Wayne Bell-Ace Asphalt

Wayne Bell is the President of Ace Asphalt which was founded in Phoenix in 1966.  Wayne joined the ACE leadership team in 2005 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  After a nine year trajectory of proven success and effective management in sales and marketing, he was promoted to President.  As Ace Asphalt's leader, Wayne oversees a multi-state operation, 350 - 450 employees (depending on the time of the year) and one of the largest asphalt contractors in the Southwest.

With over 20 years of experience, Wayne leads the corporate strategy and development efforts across all markets including Arizona, New Mexico, Las Vegas and Texas.  With outstanding customer service as a guide and strong relationships as a path, he makes it a priority for ACE to serve the surrounding communities and its partners.  Wayne is a proponent of being active leaders and community partners in the communities in with they operate.  Ace Asphalt is proud to service those around them through both philanthropic and charitable contributions, as well as affiliations with local and national organizations.  For Ace, community outreach starts at home, which for them is the historic South Phoenix community where they've been able to help numerous schools and organizations.

Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Denver, and Executive Coursework at Stanford University.
