Kinds Words

Earlier this year, torrential rains and severe flooding in southeastern Louisiana meant CFMA members local to that area desperately needed our help; some lost everything. VoS CFMA made a donation that we hoped would help one of our fellow members. We have heard from that member and I would like to share this with you:

As we continue to rebuild our home and lives after the flood I cannot even begin to explain or put in to words how grateful and completely overwhelmed with all of the support we have received following the flood.  It is amazing to sit back and grasp just how generous individuals, from all over, have been to my family in these past three months.

Your donations have helped us out tremendously with putting our lives back together and move forward.  This experience has shown me how lucky of an individual I am to be part of such a great and thoughtful organization.  It really is hard to try and grasp how people from all over have taken time out of their day to think about our circumstance and give out of the generosity of their hearts.

Again I cannot begin to put into words how thankful we are to receive such a generous gift.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Kyle Cook and Family

Our thoughts and prayers are with this family and all of Southeastern Louisiana as they continue to rebuild.
