Tuesday, November 27, is #GivingTuesday – a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration that kicks off the charitable season.
GIVING TUESDAY
As you and your organization decide which charitable causes to support, please consider contributing to the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention, which provides and disseminates information and resources for suicide prevention and mental health promotion in construction and is now a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization!
DONATE NOW
Why is supporting suicide prevention efforts important? The CDC just released a new study ranking construction as the occupational group with the highest suicide rate in 2012 and 2015 among males (43.6 and 53.2 per 100,000 working persons in all occupational groups). With your financial support, we can strengthen our efforts to change those statistics and build resources to save our vulnerable workforce.

If you have any questions about the CIASP, how your company can get involved, or how to help someone in need, please reach out to
Michelle Walker, Chairman of the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention.
THANK YOU!
