2019 CFMA National Conference - The Valley of the Sun Chapter Racked up the Awards...Definitely Deserving!
June 1-5, Las Vegas, Nevada
 
We are proud to announce that the Valley of the Sun Chapter have been named the "CFMA Chapter of the Year" for those chapters with over 125 members.  Jennifer Hopper accepted the award for our chapter at the opening session at the National Convention. The chapter award comes as a result of our individual dedication and joint efforts with CFMA at both the local and national levels. Thank you to everyone for helping make this award possible.
 
Congratulations also to:
  • Marj Weber for being awarded the ICCIFP Vision and Leadership Award.  Marj's dedication to our industry is evident and this award is well deserved!
  • David James for being honored with the Danny B. Parrish Award.  A well deserved recognition of a selfless leader!
  • Dave Miller for being awarded the Best Tweeter Award.  Pushing 35 tweets and retweets.  Impressive!

It is with great sadness that we let you know that the founder of Irontree Construction, Gary Williams passed away on Friday November 1, 2013, as a result of complications from the stroke he suffered in July 2011.  The entire family and Irontree group is sad but they are comforted by the fact that Gary is now at peace and no longer suffering.  A memorial service is being planned for the week after Thanksgiving.
