CFMA Valley of the Sun Chapter HONORS JOHN CORCORAN with the Inaugural Legacy Award As you know, John is a true legacy to the construction industry and continues to be recognized for his decades of dedication to the construction industry and to CICPAC.  CICPAC member and Chairman of the event, Bryan Eto,   presented John Corcoran with the Legacy Award on April 26th. Thank you, John for your many years of service and for continuing to serve your community!

Volunteer for the UMOM Read to Me Event!

Tuesday, June 5th 6:00-7:45pm   Want to help a child build a lifetime love of reading? Readers know it expands your mind and your world. It's a powerful gift.    Every Tuesday night at the UMOM New Day Centers main campus, volunteer readers work with children ages 4 -12 years old. Children pick out and read a book with their volunteer partner. Through these positive, one-on-one experiences with you, their minds open in new and marvelous ways.   Please sign up by emailing diana.bujnovsky@jokake.com   When: Tuesday June 5th   Time:  6:00 - 7:45 p.m. Important: Volunteers  must  arrive no later than 6:15p.m. For the safety of the children, doors are locked at 6:15 p.m. sharp.  We're sorry, but no exceptions.   Where:  The Activity Center on UMOM's main campus located at 3333 East Van Buren Street. Valley of the Sun Has Teamed Up With UMOM to Install a "Little Free Library"!

Please help to make this endeavor a success!  Valley of the Sun will: Collect funds for the donation; $500 donation per library Hold a book drive for gently used books Brainstorm ideas for our library design (color, decorations, etc.) Gather a group of volunteers to assemble and decorate the box Provide on-going maintenance See link on Valley of the Sun website for donations! After funds are collected we will need volunteers to help build the Little Free Library! We are excited and honored to provide a "take one, leave one" book station at the UMOM campus to give children and their families easy access to books 24/7!   The goal is to raise $500.00.  To date, we have collected $177.00!   Visit the home page of the CFMA VoS website to donate now!
