April Is National Volunteer Month

Where can you find nearly 300 of your closest colleagues? Probably volunteering their talent, passion, and dedication to one (or more!) of CFMA’s Committees and Task Forces!

Whether meeting monthly, quarterly, or on an as-needed basis, we salute the CFMA volunteers who gave nearly 3,000 hours of their time last year in the interest of furthering CFMA’s mission. Committee work for 2017-18 includes tackling charges such as:
  • Facilitating regional Suicide Prevention Summits across the country (Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention Task Force)
  • Evaluating affinity partner programs and seeking partners (Membership Committee)
  • Planning 2018 conference tracks and newsletter articles (Specialty Trade and Heavy/Highway Subcommittees)
  • Ensuring the quality and integrity of delivering practical information in each issue of CFMA Building Profits (Publications Advisory Group)
  • Releasing 2017 versions of CFMA's Guide to State Tax Laws (Tax & Legislative Affairs Committee)
  • Launching CFMA's Revenue Recognition Implementation Guide (Emerging Issues Committee)
  • Collecting data from and scoring all 95 chapters for benchmarking and awards (Chapter Resources Committee)
